For Andrew and Riley's big date with the moms we went to Six Flags in Vallejo. We went on a beautiful Saturday in October. It was a little strange being there with all the Halloween decorations everywhere. This first picture you can see that they dyed the water in the fountain to look like blood. Andrew loved it. They had a funeral procession parade, there were spider webs everywhere you looked and there were lots of activities you could go to with a Halloween theme. We did a few of them, but not many. The boys had fun and the adults did too. We went to a few shows, rode a few rides, shopped for some souvenirs, and headed home. It was a really fun day and kinda nice to spend some time with just the boys doing what they wanted to do.

Andrew went to have his picture taken with the characters and Bugs turned around to pose with him and smacked him in the face in the process. It was pretty funny watching a mascot character try to apologize without talking.
The boys really liked the animal exhibits too. I couldn't believe how perfect this killer whale was acting for us to see him. It was really neat to be like a foot away from his big face.
